i think that the writing was the best because it allowed them to communicate with later generations and forigen lands.
I think that the bronze inscriptions is the best because our generation can recognize the art of the ancient China people
i think the writing and the bronze.the writing, because it helped them communicate and send messages to far away. and the bronze because it helped them make weapons and Armour and without those the Chinese people would have died
My Opinion is, i think they are all good things.
* calendar was good because then you could actually keep history.
* writing was important so that people could communicate
* and bronze was good for weapons and without it, the shang civilization would just be ordinary.
so i think they were all fantastic ways of developing a civilization.
i think that the bronze was the best because it can be used to make so many things to help china it can make armors and a lot of artist use bronze to paint . and to make sculptures!

*the bronze was good because it helped the army wich helped china be safe so in all if there was no bronze so china wouldnt be in the world right now.
*but also the calldender because it helped them keep the date and know when there was a holiday

I think the writing was the most important because back then you didnt need to plan a party or event and the bronze wasnt too useful either as china was protected by deserts mountains and ocean, which wouldnt lead to many wars.

I Think the writing was by far the best because it allowed them to communicate easly with other places in or the same places and like zak said to communicate with later generations after the writing i think the bronze was the best because it allowed the chinese people to make armor and weapons,i dont think that the calendar was the best but it helped remind the chinese people when are the festive holidays.

It lets them make things special, things to protect themselves with and to just have fun making new things!

I think that the calendar and writing were the most important achievements of the Shang dynasty. Helping to record historical events and keep time, the Chinese lunar calendar, still used today, was a major advancement of the Shang, revolutionary for its time, and hundreds of years before the concept was introduced by the Romans into Europe. Writing, as well, was a great accomplishment of the Shang, as it was used for a variety of necessary tasks, including communication, leisure, and recording data.
